- In effect AT might as well have missed the Euro Xmas season with their
- disastrous sales. The superconsoles hitting the stores across Europe can`t have
- helped. In retrospect, they would have been much better off canning the A1200
- and designing a box with cheap expansion capabilities (internal large drive
- bays etc.) plus the opprtunity to add enahanced gfx/sfx cards to improve on
- AGA. This box would have been available at a sensible price and with improved
- capabilities over the A1200 round about March.

- In the meantime, software upgrades to the OS would have had some money coming
- in, and AT would have been given time to arrange cheap and decent factory
- facilities in a less expensive manufacturing/assembly country, Scotland, for
- instance. I think that an 030 cpu, a few drive bays, and some expansion slots
- would have gone down well.
